Empress is based in the City of Yonkers, New York in Westchester County. We provide 911 emergency medical response to Westchester, Rockland, Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam, Sullivan, Orange Counties and the Bronx. We protect over one million residents with the most highly trained paramedics and EMTs in the area. Additionally, Empress provides private transportation to local hospitals, correctional institutions and skilled nursing facilities.
Our staff of over 1,200 personnel is of the highest caliber in the industry. Our 24-hour communications center houses one the most advanced computer aided systems in the region. Our full service, factory trained maintenance facility provides preventative maintenance and repair to our fleet of nearly 200 vehicles.

Empress Emergency Medical Services and its employees hold all necessary and relevant certifications for service within the State of New York. We operate within the framework provided by the New York State Department of Health for EMS agencies. Empress continues to hold the Mission Lifeline Gold Plus level designation by the American Heart Association. All employees providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) are credentialed with the appropriate medical administrative councils for operation within Westchester County, New York City and the Hudson Valley.
