Since 1993, MedFleet has been more than just a transportation service—it’s been a lifeline for communities in Central and Western Florida. Now, as part of the PatientCare EMS Solutions family, MedFleet’s commitment to saving lives and supporting families continues to grow, reaching new heights in critical care and emergency services.

In 2022, MedFleet launched PatientCare Community Health. This service was built on our vision to deliver the best care at the right time in the home. With this type of care, providers and insurers can be confident that their patients are getting the routine care they need after hospital stays and reduce unnecessary re-admissions.

MedFleet has an experienced and dedicated team of over 370 employees who transport over 60,000 patients per year. Its fleet of over 50 ambulances are staffed by certified EMS professionals who hold either a state EMT certification or state paramedic credentials. They respond to calls for medical transports from hospital to hospital, nursing home or other facility, stretcher transports for doctor appointments, hospice services and outpatient diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation services. MedFleet also provides standby for special events in the area.
